Renewed collaboration with volunte

The Recovery Centre has traditionally counted on several dozen volunteers, helping us to radio-track those animals released into the wild, collect wounded animals when our workload is to heavy, and to take care of the artificial nests dotted around the countryside for releasing the chicks of a number of birds of prey.

Muskrats in captivity

The muskrat is an Iberian endemism to be found in the north of the Iberian peninsula and the south of France, and which is threatened and shows a marked decline. Little is known regarding the behaviour of this species and, therefore, there are no guidelines for creating ex situ conservation nuclei, in other words outside its natural habitat.
